Subject: unit price?

E. WA.
I know nothing about grain commodities, but am trying to learn. I read somewhere wheat was sold in 5000 ton lots? Is that the price I see in the listing in the newspaper or is that per bushel? That's just wheat what about corn and the other grains. Is there a grain commodity for dummies book I can get. I would just like to know what is the unit for what price, I mean something like 685 does that mean $6.85 or $685 or $.685. I've not found the information on the web that explains in siimple terms what the prices mean. bjr
