Subject: Ammoniating rye straw


Northeast KS, Undercover(crops)		We are cutting cereal rye for seed. The straw is pretty green.

Wanting to get it off to plant beans.

What is the maximum moisture to bale at if we cover and ammoniate it? How soon does it need ammoniated? How long will it keep?
