use to use a 5400, as I remember charts are accurate but the seed size has to be correct. Tendency is to overplant, mine had a notill caddy on the front depth control on the drill was weak so would run coulters deeper. SIL used it 2 years ago and triple planted first 20 acres and they yielded fine.
