S Illinois | It would be interesting to add in July futures prices for that Dec-Jun time frame following Dec futures expiration. Sort of a way to see the total picture as to the price peaks during what is for most the whole marketing time frame for a crop. Probably need to make an allowance for storage/interest cost, but it would be a good way to see how prices react following the growing season and how often July futures take out the pre harvest highs. | |
