| They are going after a specific company. it is either, the software is backdoored and sending data to china, or can be controlled by them, or it has to do with the Ukraine war and they are supplying Russia.
I am -guessing- replacing the controller and software the drones use, would make them usable. A lot of the smaller drones use open source software, and the boards use ST Electronics chips in them. ardupilot, betaflight, etc.
Places like aliexpress, have the chinese beidu enabled (chinese gps network) chips that I suspect are backdoored by china, so they might have let those slip out of the country?
