Subject: RE: Outback Help...

Hiawatha, KS
The newest we have, the MaveriX, would need a proportional valve or an ESi2 and I would recommend upgrading to the AC110 that has rate and section control. However, there are other avenues. You could see if your dealer has or knows where to find a Rebel with an EDXD. It will use the same relay (bang bang) valve already installed. You can still use your Automate. OR, you can see if your dealer or yourself can find a decent used STX. It will remind you of the S3 only smaller. It works with the EDTC (black box) and the EDXD if the current eDrive should fail. It will just need to be on the correct software which, on an STX, is very easy to update. You would still be able to use your Automate, but any monitor past the S3 will not show each section shutting off on the screen. The sections will shut off, you just won't see it on the monitor.

Either way you go, you should contact your local Outback Guidance dealer and see if they can help you. Use this link to find your nearest Outback dealer: https://www.outbackguidance.com/Support/Dealer-Locator
