Not that it helps this year, and doesn't work at all if you want the straw, but you make it sound like you are just trying to get rid of it.

It might work midseason, to use a stripper header, then roll the stand with a roller crimper and follow with a disc planter. and the trick to that is to plant and roll at the same widths because it is easier to plant in the same direction you rolled. Then that will work for weed suppression and hold moisture in the ground, or keep the soil temperature down in july/august.
