I was under the impression all electric vehicles got a hefty govt rebate at time of sale, perhaps you didn’t see it but it was there to the dealer? I can be proved wrong but that is my understanding.

Where I live it is colder in winter, and the anxiety kicks in for about 3 months. When your life depends on it, and the batteries become much less dependable.

Otherwise, I appreciate your comments and could agree in many situations over the summer months.

I see perhaps Chevy sold enough electric vehicles to be phased out of the tax credits. Perhaps losing that average $4k credit per car is one reason they became unprofitable for the company. Or at least a factor.
