What kind of farmer doesn't keep something forever? Unless you are the biggest bto I don't know single farmer that doesn't have a row every vehicle they ever owned behind the trees. Why worry about trade in?
I had to clean out the trees and haul them to the scrap guy when I got married, so I don't have a row of old dead vehicles.
However, my newest vehicle is a 2000 (my wife has a fairly new Jeep but she works and bought that herself), and I still drive a 1977 Dodge Power Wagon. Drove it just yesterday to run an errand, 1-1/2 hours each way.
