The temperature was correct for the time when outdoors hogs were the majority and trichinosis needed to be killed by cooking. Science changes with the new data.
It's perfectly food safe to eat medium rare steak according to the usda. I don't care what a perosn does kill yourself for all I care. I just don't understand why people don't understand science is all.
