Doors fly off of previously reliable Boeing aircraft.
Mail has (literally) taken two weeks to get 12 miles here. And I've mailed packages that "got stuck" in USPS facilities--one was in the Hazelwood, MO hub for most of 2 weeks. Our local postmaster says "Hazelwood has problems" (many parcels don't make it through there timely, or get lost for a while).
Baler shafts that should last 25,000 bales come apart for no good reason.
Diesel pickup exhaust system failures can cost $7,000 to fix...with no guarantee they won't fail again in 6 months.
And replacement "upgrade" parts are sometimes weaker/worse than the original (I have experience with that). | |
