Northeast Missouri | Yeah, the comments make me leary of anybody's new baler--because it's hard to know which manufacturers have cheapened which parts.
I have an older 658 New Holland Silage Special that's been a good reliable baler. We don't bale a lot of bales per year, so it has lasted well, but it's about time to trade. But a new 460 model (the same bale size & silage special) is over $50,000. I know many parts are heavier...but what might they have made weaker/cheaper? Easy to be skittish about spending that much for something that might not last as long. | |
