Subject: anecdotes and science

Pittsburg, Kansas

Anecdotes are what leads to the scientific studies. The question is raised "why is this happening or happening so often?" Then science tries to answer the question.

Enough anecdotes in succession with many different people are hard to ignore.

Anecdotes that don't really happen all that often but do happen are the reversion of severe autoimmune diseases by eating only beef and drinking only water. Eliminating all other foods and drinks. When high profile people like the Jordan Peterson family have reversal of long term medical conditions the anecdote comes to the attention of the public. Then a few people try it and more anecdotes happen where people are cured of their long term conditions. Does that mean it will work for everyone with autoimmune conditions? Of course not. But the more anecdotes that pop up in increasing frequency, it makes it all the more suggestive that maybe a few more people might want to try it on a limited time basis to see if it helps. Could take science twenty years to prove it and another 20 years for the medical/nutritional community to accept and adopt the new information (took us 50 years to learn saturated fat is not bad for us and yet the old bad "science" still lingers).

Sometimes anecdotes are worth considering, especially if the down side to trying them is very limited.
