Subject: RE: Drone recommendation to check cattle

East Central, Nebraska
i use an dji air2 to check crops and cattle. the one thing i will tell you is that my cattle don't like being checked by a drone. usually take off running when i get at all close and i don't like that so i don't check them with it much anymore. on the flip side i had a neighbor that constantly had 600 pound steers and heifers out in my corn field a couple years ago. he eventually just quit trying to get them in and keep them in. so one of the first things i did with my drone was use it to get his animals in and it worked well. as far as i have seen cattle do not like them but that can be a good thing when trying to move cattle in a situation where a horse or 4 wheeler does not work .
