I like to watch used equipment auction results and dealer pricing. Gives me something to do in the middle of the night anyway. I've been watching X9 1100s recently and by my estimation the average X9 depreciates at roughly $1100-$1300 an engine hour or nearly $220,000 a year. Whether you lease or buy you're still paying for that loss in value. This brings me to my main question.

What kind of depreciation is the AF11 going to see? Case IH equipment doesn't usually hold its value as well so I'd imagine it'll be higher. $2000+ an engine hour? Imagine buying a combine for $1 million plus and its only worth $400,000 or less in 2-3 years. Crazy

Is there any pricing on depreciation per acre? Yes they depreciate a bunch but a guy who buys one is shoving a lot of acres through one.
