Pretty sure there was a difference between the 90 and 94 series. At least that’s what I was told. The 33/35 were mfwd. At one time I had a 2294,2394 and a 3594. They all served me well and none had rear end issues. I changed fluids and filters and didn’t abuse them. Good tractors in their day.
