You might be surprised how much equipment is paid for. Also a class 11 harvesting 150 bu/acre corn is different than one harvesting 300 bu/acre. With the x9 there is also better grain quality and less acceptable losses compared to the s series, which plays a part in it as well, that’s how Lexion continues to take market share from Deere.

On top of that 50’ heads can cover quite a few acres per hour and if a class 11 replaces two class 7/8s you are probably money ahead, and don’t forget about paying one less combine operator.
