If prices are similar I'd get a 2594 or 2590 over a 2390 but I would not worry much about a 2390 rearend. They are so close in construction I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Order of preference would be 3594, 3394, 2594, 2394, 2590, 2390. The 6 speed powershift in some of the 94 series is much nicer.
