| Well I didn't know, that it won't lock until they were both on the shaft..
I just put the two on and tighten the set screw. This is the first time i actually turned them off the shaft , as the collar always came with the bearing
and the collar was always destroyed with the bearing.
This bearing ,the seal pop off and there was no damage to the bearing or collar. Got lucky and seen it before it self destructed.
Thanks for the info. as I been changing bearings for over 50 years and this is the first time I ever changed a bearing that wasn't in a ton of pieces. | |
