NCFL | Yes, I think that year's Amadas pickers were built on JD 9500/9510 engine powertrain. They use the same cab and controls as the grain combines, but the cylinders are completely different. Instead of one threshing cylinder there are, I think, six threshing cylinders starting in the feederhouse. There are no straw walkers in the back, just another series of cylinders with fingers similar to the header teeth on a baler that work with camtracks to propel the stripped vines on out the back. | |
