I have an 800 and 8000
800 and 8000 have a lot of parts that are interchangeable, or backwards compatible...but a 500 has A LOT of parts that do not fit an older 300 or a newer 800/8000 header. The tilt arms are different, skid shoes, feather sheets, auger, etc. Sickle, wobble box, and some of the drive parts are the same.
