Subject: RE: Seeking Feedback from Farmers on the Use of Drones in Agriculture

Hooker Twp,Ne
As a 70 year old farmer I can see drones become important in ag. As I on occasion use a small drone mainly for entertainment but on occasion a pivot may break down, cattle get in corn field, and dang there’s a weed patch we must of missed with sprayer. I was around an ag spray unit last year. Battery time and constant filling seemed overwhelming. 3 guys to keep two drones rolling. From the bits and pieces I was understanding from them air clearance was a concern for me. I understand near an airport but out in no man’s land at what 20 feet above the ground. I’m to old for it but if I was a young buck I’d be heavily looking into it.
