500 calves, $1500 each. 3 years it's paid for. This is the easiest deal I ever heard of. I bet if you start putting out hay in winter the cows are smart enough to bring the calves in off the desert. Then you put up a creep gate and they catch themselves. I've seen this kind of ranching in books.
Probably can even fly a helicopter if you want to be a big shot rancher. Or ride your horse if that's your thing. Otherwise just let the cows do the work.
