Southern Indiana | I have a group of 27 cows and calves (most 2 to 3 mo old) that I would like to feed 3 bales to in 2 days. I'm getting a new Bxtra type feeder this morning and have another slightly less efficient feeder in terms of waste that I am using now.My main concern is that everyone gets a chance at the feeder while minimizing waste. The Bxtra type really seems to cut down on waste, but they are pricey. Prefer not to buy 2.Should I use 2 feeders or put 2 in the Bxtra one day and 1 the next? Thanks. | |
