The ethanol space is looking pretty positive right now. We have the most plants ever (capacity wise) running.. so it’s not a surprise we are cranking record production.. besting the record in July.
Also we are exporting record amounts of fuel ethanol.. and I would expect respectable if not record DDGs.
U.S. fuel ethanol production was up nearly 1% the week ending Nov. 8, setting a record high at 1.113 barrels per day, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Nov. 14. Stocks were up slightly, and exports were up 32%. The previous record for fuel ethanol production was set in July 2024 at 1.109 million barrels per day.
The 1.113 million barrels per day of production reported for the week ending Nov. 8 was up 8,000 barrels per day when compared to the 1.105 million barrels per day of production reported for the previous week. When compared to the same week of last year, production for the week ending Nov. 8 was up 66,000 barrels per day.
