Unfortunately for agriculture, Trump needs big oil to help him clean up a huge mess in the Middle East. Oil and gas can also be used as a tool for dealing with Russia and China. He doesn’t need ethanol to move any of the important chess pieces around the globe.

Hopefully, he will remember the states that elected him.
