Subject: RE: Treating cow hoof problems

When I milked cows we cut them out and used coppertox, (was not aware it is till available) they put some powdered Oxy-tet on it and wrapped it, now not sure if one would dare do that on a milking cow. We had to change mineral last year about this time, new mineral seems to be really good far as the reproductive part goes, but had 2-4 foot issues this year vs- one every year or 2 before, ( and those most of the time they would get better on their own after a week to 10 days which was not the case this year) but was a very wet May-June here. Just got my 2nd pallet of the new mineral today, they added a bit of organic Iodine in it, we will see if it helps.
