WCIL | The landowners own everything including equipment, and have a farm manager and an operator plus employees who do the field work and daily operations. Been that way for as long as I can remember. They had another similar outfit in Adams county but have sold it in recent years. Clicker is correct on the swampy part. Much of this bottom ground is gumbo and lays low, and some of it is better and lighter dirt (lighter=better in the river bottoms here). | |
