Subject: shout out to Moms+Dads.

lake Michigan shore line/Mason county
I just want to take a second to thank ALL Moms + Dads. I didn't always agree with my folks ideas or opinions,BUT---every morning when I wake up and go to the can I am walking just like my folks helped me learn to do. without their help I might be crawling around on all 4s just like a barn animal. If they hadn't taught me to wipe my behind I most likely wouldn't, or wouldn't do a good job. When I sit down to eat breakfast I hold my fork n spoon like they showed me. I don't eat with my hands. When I put my boots on it was those two "fools " who taught me to put the right shoe on the right foot, after pulling up a sock correctly. When I head out I close the door behind me, like I got screamed at a 1000 times for not doing. My folks never let me freeze to death, or starve. I didn't always have new clothes, or what was in fashion, but they did keep me dressed until I was old enough to provide for myself. They wiped my nose when I couldnt. The list could go on and on. I was able to learn a good trade where I could work tons of hours year after year in very hot, very cold, snowy and rainy weather. I learned this from all the slave labor I was raised in. I worked with both Mom and Dad in the fields doing hand labor so any job I had in town didn't seem so tough. I watched them " uneducated stubborn fools" never give up and never stop. I have what I have today because of their hard work. Raising kids is a real challenge. No baby comes with an instruction book. If you have more than 1 kid you will learn all of them are different from each other. What worked with one kid is totally wrong for the next. Parents have to learn as they go. Make changes on the fly. EVERY parent comes into the job with their own issues. Maybe they had a rough childhood. Drunken Daddy, over barring Mom, All in All we survived to be able to feed and dress ourselves while complaining about them. Some of you guys grew up to be damn fine men. Men I would be honored to know and work with. I want to thank your folks for getting you started and bringing you into this world. You are who you are because of how they did what they did, right or wrong. I miss my folks every day. I was only able to have 1 Mom, and 1 Dad. They were far from perfect,,, but they were MINE. God bless parents, their job sure isn't easy.
