West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | We have more bald eagles than sparrows around here. Bald eagles started to be more common around here back in the mid 90s early 2000s when we were still row crop cultivating. It was pretty entertaining watching a couple pair build their nests from stick one when we were cruising along at 2 mph the first time through. Watching the adults teach the young how to fly is pretty interesting as well...life gets real when your parents literally push you out of your nest that's at least fifty feet off of the ground. |
