North Central Kansas | They probably lost $10-15 per each bird. Or mom and dad did. Local county had a meat chicken division at the fair. I can't remember the number but it was $10-15 cost in each bird. Hard to scale that and make enough to support a family. I know people who do the produce and farmers market type stuff. Hard to tell how profitable it is. Pretty sure a lot of it is cash business that never gets reported. | |
