East Central Nebraska | My Dad hated sports. I loved sports and played Football, basketball and baseball. Still love it to this day. He never missed a game but I don't think he was overly excited about the game. I also learned music as that was his talent and he said the band will make me a few more dollars than sports will. He was right as we had a band for many years. A couple years ago, we were working on the combine and I thew a can or something at the trash can about 30 feet away. It swooshed right in. I said hey Dad, basketball did do me some good. He laughed and said, you putting on weight, you could use more exercise. Moral of my story is I can usually toss something at the trash can or metal bin and not have to walk across shop to put it in. LOL. | |
