Sanilac Co. Michigan | I'll give it a run.2294 case and a 2290 as well, a/c is on strike in both of them. I'm pulling a2023 Great Plains 1510hd, with fertilizer boxes and small seed boxes too. Follow that around with a 22' local fab shop transport roller. Got a Willmar 765 self propelled sprayer with 90' booms. Harvest comes around and I yank out a 95 R52 Gleaner with a 520 flex head and air bar. Two old tandems that were state of the art when I graduated high-school, though ones got a dead axle. Got two Killbros 385 wagons I can pull behind them as a poor man's pup set up. One bin put up new and the others I tear down and re-errected. My augers are all fourth hand and ieaks are mitigated by whatever color gorilla tape is most handy. Tillage equipment is an eccentric collection of half worn out implements that make a lot of noise when engaged in the ground...probably a good thing I've been 100% notil going on 25 years, cuz this stuff is just a few stones away from the scrap pile. All this to cover a little more than 300 acres by myself. Remarkably, it works with a little encouragement year to year! | |
