This is a great example of our current coop system failing us.

Most of them sell us products we could get direct or cheaper elsewhere and buy our products we could sell direct to.

What they should be doing is helping someone in Brewster KS get their high value whatever it is to the people in the front range where the money is.

There is a place for cheap Walmart food and fruit loops to those who want it but if you could grow $25/bu heritage wheat for example that gets milled and made into some kind of fancy bread would you do that instead?

Cheap Walmart food and Fruit loops are still relatively expensive food. There are 8 billion people on earth and most can’t afford to shop at Walmart.
