| Biggest risk to btc imo is computers becoming advanced enough to decrypt it or hack or whatever. I only say this because during one of nvidia ceo presentations he said that they were actually advancing compute power faster than moors law
And moors law is exponential.
But I remember one time a guy saying that if you took all the computers ever made and let them try to crack the encryption even after 1000 years they still wouldn’t be able to do it (but I could have the years wrong here maybe it was 5000 years or 100 I don’t remember but it was a lot!)
My point being that sometimes things seem impossible but just give it five years and it’ll be within the realm of possibility
And the nvidia ceo when explaining how they are technically beating moors law seemed pretty amazed by it. And the crowd didn’t really react so he tried re explaining it. And they still didn’t really react. But he , the man who advanced semiconductors to where we are at today, was floored by how fast they are advancing.
If we stay on this trajectory I can’t even imagine another ten years from now
