Frost,Mn | Yeah he’s a POS in my mind.
My son is in his 6th year in the Marines, been deployed twice, and still seems to be enjoying himself. The thing is they are totally committed and it’s really hard to make a plan for life( home, girlfriend, kids,etc) without the military ruling your world.
When my son comes home, many people thank him and he respectfully accepts. I don’t continually offer the thanks or, I love you’s like some but do tell him regularly, I’m proud of him. I know he knows.
