East Central SD | I have a leak on the rear of my engine on my 8130, and am about 90% sure it's the rear main seal, with a chance of it being the pan gasket. My seal has a ring around it, held to the block by torx head bolts. The new seal from Deere is a sub, which also requires the new housing. Everyone tells me to not disturb the housing, as it will more than likely lead to a pan gasket leak. I can get the old style seal from asap, none available from Deere. What's the best route- replace with an aftermarket like I have, or risk a pan gasket leak by updating to the new housing and seal? I am also changing the trans input shaft seals and the rubber torsion drive while I'm in there. Thanks
