If no water is nearby I lick the lenses off before I use a soft hanky to wipe them but water is first choice.. I mentioned licking them to the glasses fitting lady at the optometrist office and it grossed her out so I stay quiet anymore. Right now I have sone small circles on the lenses from some kind of a chemical splash. Possibly carb cleaner.
