Not really what you asked for but I went to contacts 40 some years ago because my glasses were always getting scratched up. It was also nice to be able to walk into a building in the winter and be able to see instead of having to wipe the fog off my glasses. You just need to have a good supply of safety glasses scattered around. I would never go back to glasses.
