Subject: Think of Crypo as Art

Southern Alberta
Art only has value because people have decided item are great and a must have and it is of limited quantities. Not all art has value, just like not all crypto will have the same value. There is new art coming on stream all the time, just like there are new crypto currencies coming online all the time.

The scary part of the crypto is that you actually do not have any physical to show/sell, it is just on a computer somewhere, which hopefully does not get lost/changed/stolen, etc. At least with art there is a physical painting or statue.

As long as we have people with excess money looking for homes, then stocks, land, buildings, art, crypto etc. will continue to appreciate. Stock prices with absolutely no correlation to a companies net worth or earnings are not much different than crypto. All stock info is also on computers somewhere and can easily be hacked/stolen/ traded etc. Your paper share certificate is not worth anything if a computer breach occurs, same as crypto.
