| Thanks. No not good. Needle was never pegged, just up in hot.
I don't think oil went out exhaust. We were never having "bad" smoke. Certainly not white smoke.
As far as where the water went, past post (I can't find right now) refers to once the seal goes in pump it leaks coolant into crankcase. In some cases, they said oil was not milky cause moisture was boiled off but under valve cover was a mess.
At first, I wondered if I had a leak in radiator any fan just pulled fluid away, so it appeared dry. I have had that happen to tractor before. With vapor coming out of oil tube and it then spitting oil, but oil level is still in the good, I think coolant was going through crankcase. | |
