Plastic replaces copper in the ground. Cheaper these days I guess. Wouldn’t want it in or on the building in case of fire.

In the house, either flared copper or threaded black steel pipe. Don’t know about brazed copper inside if you wanted to go that route. Don’t think I would want soft soldered copper because it would melt if exposed to much heat.
