Put them in a pail of water with a 25% muriatic acid mixture and walk away for two or three weeks. Rinse them with water then oil them immediately with any light oileven diesel fuel will work. They will rust if they are wet after the oil wears off but they will be cleaned up. Now is the time to paint them safety orange so you can find them.
