Southern, WI | liked our 8005 , really like the 8010 40ft models. Had the landoll and still have a case 330 here too , i dont think they really compare. Pass in the fall , pass in the spring or sometimes stale seed.
Positives
can be ran as an actual VT (blades straight)
levels fields over time really well
Does not plug in wet conditions
On the 8010 it has tines betweeen the disc gangs which helps spread out uneven trash piles left from combine
Doesnt bounce like MANY of the competitors
Wing donwpressure
pretty easy to leave the rootballs in the ground
Cons
If you chase right behind the combine in green stalks after good yieds it may not always penetrate the ground the best
Many vts and even some high speed discs have the same "problem"
if you can wait for a rain or 2 on the stalks it helps a lot
Some falls certain fields it feels like your not doing enough but when you go back in the spring and hit it again its pretty darn good.
