Ft. Ripley MN | Unfortunately it’s cheap for a reason. They work and they will do the job if you’re just wanting a disk. The one we had would leave a center ridge but nothing that is the end of the world.
Make sure the gangs stay tight otherwise the blades will start rounding off the axle. Just a couple shots of grease in the bearings. It has some age to it so don’t be surprised if things break. Had to go slow due to rocks.
Moved to a cushion gang Krause of the same vintage and that does a better job. Lightly browsing for a new disk and not looking forward to the $10-$15k for a newer cushion gang | |
