There is absolutely no reason you can't run a Class 8 with a 35-40' platform and 8 row corn head on 1000 acres. Heck, you can even run a 6 row on a Class 8 if you want to.
Most of the time you can buy the used Class 8 cheaper than a used Class 6 if you're comparing similar age, hours and condition.
Used combines twenty years from now?
