Callao Missouri | Rolling around the idea of upgrading my current jd 7000-16 row planter.
Looking at 7200, 1770, and NT versions.
Also kinze 2600-3600. Have a 2600-16/31 for beans so familiar with kinze also.
I have a list of wants, and i believe it will be more cost effective to purchase a planter already set up

Liquid fertilizer
Keeton seed firmers
The zig zag fold markers of the 1770nt, or flat fold in kinze.
Heavy duty adjustable down pressure.
A concern I have going forward, with higher planting population, 34-36k. Is that going to spin a finger pickup meeter too fast at 5-6 mph? Looking at vacuum for this reason will eliminate kinze.
Liquid fertilizer? Can you run jd single disk fertilizer units on an NT bar?
Want to do more notill into cover crop, and put on some early N if get behind putting on nh3.
If some of you guys have liquid setups, share a picture and a description of what you do. Im currently not applying fertilizer with planter.
Planning on pulling machine with a cih 7120-4 reverse or 7140-2 reverse. 3 outlets on either one. Will i have enough outlets to run everything, and have markers on an outlet, not tied into raise lower of planter?
