coast of Maine
Adam, its been quite mild this season in the North East.I see a quite a bit on one of our lower demand furnaces.I would wait for a few cold days, open the windows, turn up the thermostats,IDK what controls your furnace as some are exhaust temp, some water temp/some are draft controlled and some have a hi limit.I would adjust it to the max BTU and burn dry hardwood pallets(no pine or soft wood ones) and let her rip.Our lowest demand furnace sucks up all our used pallets, much are soft wood, gummy as heck creosote.A chimney fire should be off little concren as long as no dry grass around your wood furnace.I would be sure water level is full before giving it the taco sauce,,,
