Melancthon, Ontario | I dont think the big ones take much more to maintain, the cost goes up per hour for sure but when measured in bushels harvested it will be similar.
Also the part time farmers are going to have to spend more hours working off to support the farm which means less time to spend in the fields. I know of a few guys with F2 gleaner or 4400 deere that could combine their 140 acres but they dont want to spend the time when the custom cutter shows up and its off in a day. | |
