I have a CIH 1688 with a set of straw spreader gears that are going bad. They are the 14 tooth bevel gears, one horizontal and on vertical that turn one of the two spreaders on the back of the machine. Anyway I was looking to order replacements for them and find that, according to All States website the gears they sell work for the 1660,1680, 2188, and 2388 but not the 1688. Is this accurate or some kind of typo. I thought all these combines were mostly the same and that the 1688 sat right there in between the 1680 and the 2188. All States had the best price on the gears. Will take any thoughts on this subject. Thanks in advance!! | |
